Reminder that tonight EC3 will host our Trimester 1 showcase of learning event to coincide with our Trimester 2 open house. We look forward to seeing all of our families from 5:30-7pm. Our students in our construction program will meet at their off site location, 421 East Dixie Ave, everyone else will meet at 200 University drive, feel free to park in the back or our student parking lot.

We encourage our students to attend school every day, but especially on Tuesday, September 9, 2025! Bragging rights are on the line in our district-wide competition!!! Great attendance that day helps HCS as we compete with other districts in Kentucky.

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS and PARENTS!! We encourage you to place this event on your calendars! This is a WONDERFUL opportunity to learn about more than THIRTY colleges and universities, the armed forces, financial aid, and MUCH MORE!!

EC3 will be hosting our very first Club Day on Friday Aug 22nd during 4/5 periods. This is a new idea that we are going to TRY for the first time but we need lots of help and cooperation to make this work. Students that are planning to attend must sign up with the google form. To attend a Club here at EC3 you must be enrolled in any of the trimesters this year. Students that do not fill out this form will not be allowed to attend.

Teen Court is an amazing experience for our students! We are grateful for those who work so hard to organize it and create these tremendous opportunities. Interested students and their families are invited to attend an open house on August 28, 2025 at 6:30 pm at the Hardin County Justice Center.

EC3 will continue to sell parking passes today. Beat the rush on the first days of school and come today if you can. Also remember parking spots are being assigned, so the sooner you come the better chance you get the spot you want!

Tonight during Open House we will be selling our student parking tags. $5 (cash only) to our T1 students with an active drivers license. You will need to show your license and will need a parent signature. We are now assigning parking spots to students for the semester. Also if you have the new HCS app, just show it and have a chance to win a prize! See you tonight from 6-7:30!

EC3 Open House Tuesday August 5th 6-7:30 at 200 University Drive in Etown. Come meet your teachers and check out where you will be attending for part of your school day this year! We are so excited to meet our new students and see our returning ones as well!

The start of school is just around the corner! Families this is a reminder that our home high school open houses will be on July 31st, but the EC3 open will be on August 5th from 6-7:30. Students that are attending EC3 this year are invited to attend, just bring your schedule that you get from your high school on July 31st, we will not have schedules to hand out. Also that evening we will have two meetings, one will be for students and parents that are taking our Pharmacy Tech program (Yes, it has returned!!) at 6 pm. The next will be for our newest program, drum roll please.......Dental Assisting!!! We will meet at 6:30, this meeting will be for any students interested in signing up and taking this class this year. We will also begin selling parking passes. $5 cash, forms will be available to fill out on site.

All students will have access to free breakfast and free lunch again this school year. However, each family is still required to complete a Household Income Form to maintain accurate data as a requirement for state and federal funding. Free lunches are provided through a program called the Community Elgibility Provision (CEP). The continuation of CEP is dependendent on the number of school meals served. We encourage all students to participate in school lunch and school breakfast as much as possible!
