Welcome to the Hardin County Schools Early College and Career Center (EC3)! I'm Principal Dan Robbins.
EC3 is a hub of innovation, purpose, and opportunity. We bring together high school students from Central Hardin, John Hardin, and North Hardin to elevate their learning through immersive, hands-on experiences. By spending half of their school day with us, our students dive deep into their chosen passions, gaining real-world skills while remaining fully connected to the extracurricular activities and traditions of their home high schools.
Our robust partnerships with regional leaders—including dual credit partners with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC), Western Kentucky University (WKU), Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC), Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC), Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) and key industry trailblazers—ensure that our curriculum directly matches the needs of today’s workforce. Because these partners helped design our state-of-the-art facilities and pathways, our students aren't just preparing for the future; they are actively building it.
Whether they are launching drones in our Aviation pathway, mastering patient care in health sciences, creating digital media, or earning dual-credits toward an Associate Degree, EC3 students leave us uniquely prepared. They graduate equipped with high-demand industry certifications, college hours, and a clear competitive edge for both higher education and the modern workforce.
With more than 40 career pathways available, we are incredibly proud of the diverse opportunities we offer our community's future leaders. Thank you for visiting our website. Please reach out if you have any questions or if you would like to learn more about how EC3 can jumpstart your student’s future.
